Experience
Project Manager
NASA L'Space
January 2024 - April 2024
- I orchestrated sub-teams and facilitated effective mentor communication while spearheading site selection on Mars, prioritizing water-rich locations.
- Additionally, I facilitated scientific experiment choice in collaboration with the team and ensured strict adherence to project deadlines.
- I also authored technical papers including MCR (Mission Concept Review), SRR (Systems Requirments Review), MDR (Mission Definition Review), and PDR (Preliminary Design Review ).
- Worked on progrmatics aspect for the project, where I used the MCCET (Mission Concept Cost Estimation Tool) by NASA to perform budget calculations.
Stuctures & Design Engineer
Capstone Project - Bi-Propellant Rocket (BiProp)
August 2023 - April 2024
• Won Northrop Grumman Best in Show 2024 Engineering Award amongst around 50 other projectes.
• Designed and optimized a 5inch diameter flange connecting the injector to the chamber resulting in a 10% mass reduction using Fusion 360.
• Performed structural analysis on injector plates and flange resulting in a FOS of 2 using ANSYS.
• Designed and manufactured a mild steel conical rocket nozzle using Fusion 360 and CNC Lathe.
BiProp
AIAA Conferece
April 2024 - April 2024
- Presented senior design project, ''BiProp" at the conference.
- Secured 3rd Place in Undergraduate Team Category.
Research Assistant
INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR ASTRONAUTICAL SCIENCES - PoSSUM
March 2023 – March 2023
•Performed high-G and microgravity physiology flights on an Extra 300L aerobatic aircraft, contributing valuable data to
extreme flight conditions research; proficient at Anti-Garment usage and advanced anti-G Straining Maneuver (AGSM) for
high-performance flight environments.
• Completed High-Altitude Hypoxia Awareness Training, including hypoxia recognition and high-altitude safety procedures.
• Underwent comprehensive training in spacesuit operations, mastering donning, doffing, pressure regulation, mobility,
and flight system control.
• Conducted a full mission simulation of PoSSUM's Noctilucent Cloud Tomography Experiment in a pressurized spacesuit.
Team Leader
NASA Space Trek
August 2023 - August 2023
- Proposed an experiment to measure how much radioactive
particles can be absorbed by an aerogel sheet. The purpose of this experiment was to see if aerogels can be used in spacesuits. - Designed hollow casing for equipment in creo.
- Had 1 controlled test and 1 test sample covered in aerogel, to be
lanched in a weather balloon. - Learnt how to make a parachute and test it.
- Enhanced leadership skills as team lead
Space Camp Engineer
NASA Space Camp
August 2019 - August 2019
- Developed a model rocket project, including design, fabrication, and execution, with a detailed Center of Gravity (COG)
and Center of Pressure (COP) analysis for enhanced aerodynamic stability. - Performed comprehensive Mars weather data analysis for 3 hours, employing program simulations to extract and present
essential meteorological insights for mission planning. - Worked under budget to make prototype for Space Suit that was tested to extremes, such as fire-proofing test.
Tutor
Florida Institute of Technology
January 2023 - December 2023
• Provided 150 hours of personalized tutoring to aerospace engineering students, focusing on Mechanics of Materials, Solid
Modelling, Fluids, Material Science, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, and Space Flight Mechanics (Orbital Mechanics).
• Guided academic projects and assignments, helping students apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.
